A few isolated showers and storms have finally formed in the last hour over North and Central Alabama.
A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for parts of Morgan County, for the strongest storm in the state. It is centered just west of Hartselle moving east southeast toward Falkville.
Further south, showers are popping up from southern Cullman through Blount and into East Alabama. They were just west of The Colony, between Nectar/Cleveland, near Ohatchhe, near Oxford and between Jacksonville and Piedmont.
Everything is pushing slowly east southeast.
Temperatures are falling slowly through the middle 80s.
