If you are really into weather, there is a great opportunity coming for you to learn more about the fascinating field of meteorology. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Birmingham will host an open weather forum on their Facebook page on Monday, December 2nd, from 7 to 8 pm CST. During this open forum you will be able to interact with NWS meteorologists and ask them your weather-related questions. They will also be providing news and information about what is going on at the NWS office.
You can join the forum by simply going to Facebook and use the search area to enter “US National Weather Service Birmingham Alabama.”
If you have any questions about weather or weather operations in Central Alabama, this is a great opportunity to talk to those folks who generate much of the weather information you use such as watches, warnings, and forecasts. So mark you calendar now!
