NOTE: The computer here in the weather office that puts still radar images on the web (from the ABC 33/40 Pinpoint Doppler Radar) was damaged by lightning yesterday and is being replaced.
For now… just use the live stream from the main ABC 33/40 weather page. Click on the “Click here to watch live” button on the right sidebar and you can see a live video stream of the radar.
The radar itself on Double Oak Mountain is in great working order…

A serious situation is occurring in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area when numerous roads are flooded or impassable. The Tuscaloosa County EMA asks that residents stay home and do not drive. Continue reading
