Rainfall deficits over the past 90 days across Central Alabama range generally from 4-8 inches.

For two weeks, we have been tracking the remarkable rainless streak at Birmingham

After today, the Birmingham rainless streak will be at 42 days. This is just one day short of second place (43 days). The record is 52 set in October and November 1924.

With the next system looking drier, the chance of ending the streak Thursday looks unlikely. At best, it looks like it will rain on Friday, November 11th. If this plays out, the rainless streak will run out to 53 days. This would establish a new all-time mark.
