Looks like this picture was made in either 1996 or 1997, right after ABC 33/40 signed on the air for the first time. Ashley Brand was a student at Mountain Brook High School; she probably never knew she would take John Oldshue’s place one day!
For those of you that don’t know, Ashley is our new weekend meteorologist; she will officially begin this weekend on ABC 33/40, and you can meet her at the Storm Alert tour stops this month.
Oldshue will always be part of our family; he is a partner with The Weather Company, which provides weather support for ABC 33/40. Look for him during severe weather events and other special occasions.
