The NWS has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Lamar and Pickens Counties in West Alabama. It goes until 2 p.m.
Strong storms are lifting into West Alabama at this hour from Mississippi. One especially intense storm is northwest of Carrollton in Pickens County.
