…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL RANDOLPH COUNTY UNTIL 400
PM CDT…
At 256 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lake Wedowee, moving east at 5 mph.
Other heavy associated thunderstorms have been redeveloping across
the advisory area. Gusty winds and pea size hail along with
torrential rainfall is expected with these storms.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Wedowee, Lake Wedowee, Woodland, Tennant, R.L. Harris Dam, Big
Springs, Ofelia, Napoleon and Newell.
