At 716 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ider, or 15 miles northeast of Fort Payne, moving northeast at 15
mph.
Penny size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Fort Payne, Henagar, Ider, Valley Head, Hammondville, Mentone,
Sulpher Springs and Desoto State Park.
