I am going to do a scaled down version of Storm Alert 2009 Tuesday night at the First United Methodist Church in Sylvan Springs. The show begins at 7:00… and we will wrap up by 8:00. I will be handling this one by myself, and we will discuss lots of interesting weather topics. If you live out in the western part of Jefferson County, I invite you to come and join us.
This, of course, is one of the communities hit hard by the April 8, 1998 EF5 tornado that killed 32 people in that part of Jefferson County. Everyone likes to talk weather in those parts.
Our regular show this week will be in Jasper at the CHS Building at 7:00. We always have great crowds when we visit Jasper. I hope to see you at one of these stops this week!
