Strong storms have been limited to areas south of US-80 this afternoon. There was even a severe thunderstorm warning for Coffee County in South Alabama a little while ago.

Isolated storms formed north of that up to I-59. One decent storm was near Epes along I-59/20 north of Livingston in Sumter County.

One very visible storm was north of Alex City earlier. It has since weakened.

It was 100F last hour at Tuscaloosa. Birmingham was 96F last hour.

The storms have formed south of a weak boundary over Central Alabama. It will move north tomorrow, giving more of the area a slight chance of an isolated afternoon storm.
