The storms over Central Alabama are starting to slowly go downhill tonight as they lose their fuel.
But they are still quite noisy over northeastern Jefferson into southern Blount Counties. Nothing severe, but dangerous lightning, very heavy rains and gusty winds will accompany these storms.
Elsewhere, strong storms are beginning to fire over southern Hale edging toward northern Marengo County. They will produce gusty winds, lightning and heavy rain as well.
The storms will continue to gradually weaken over the next couple of hours. More storms are expected on Monday afternoon and again during the overnight Monday night.
