Storms Weakening

Storms over East Alabama are quickly weakening at this hour.

Moderate to occasionally heavy showers cover parts of Clay, Randolph, northern Tallapoosa and northern Chambers Counties. Storms are over Elmore and southern Tallapoosa Counties.

All of this activity has gusted out. The outflow boundary has pushed westward to just east of I-65 from Shelby County through Chilton and into Elmore Counties.

This boundary could play a role in storm formation tomorrow…possibly in areas west of I-65.
