Finally seeing the back edge of the rain make it into Alabama this morning and even seeing some breaks in the clouds that are allowing for the moon to peek through. We still have few strong storms across Central Alabama but they continue to push off to the east. Some of these storms continue to have dangerous lightning, gusty winds and some hail. The rain is tapering off in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham should see he rain ending within the next hour. The showers and thunderstorms will continue to move off into Georgia, and things will begin to dry out Sunday. Could see enough clearing tomorrow that we may see some descent sunshine. Behind the front a reinforcing shot of cold air for the first half of the week.
