The storm near Quincy and Hatley in Monroe County Mississippi are less than 20 minutes from entering West Alabama’s northern Lamar and Marion Counties.
The storms will pass north of Sulligent, near Detroit and into Marion County near Weston and Hamilton.
They show the potential for 1-inch hail and have lots of dangerous lightning. Heavy rain will be a problem as well. And winds will gust to 45-50 mph.
The NWS In Birmingham has issued a significant weather alert for them.
