A strong storm is approaching Samantha in northern Tuscaloosa County. It is well north of the cities of Tuscaloosa and Northport.
It will move towards western and northern Jefferson Counties as it pushes northeast.
SUMTER COUNTY NOTE
The warning for Sumter Co. has expired as the storm has moved out of the county. There is another strong storm near Emelle and Geiger headed towards Gainesville. One inch hail is likely.
