We are tracking a small bow echo that is about to reach Meridian, Mississippi and will be into Sumter County near Livingston within the hour. It has a severe thunderstorm warning on it for Kemper and Lauderdale Counties.

The most likely path carries it through Sumter into southern Greene/northern Marengo and into Hale and Perry Counties, but it could turn a little more northeast along the instability gradient.

Instability is decent, not overly strong, but the storms should maintain themselves as they push into West Central Alabama.

Further north, a large area of light to moderate rain will move into southern Lamar, Pickens and northern Sumter. The intensity is slowly decreasing.
