Dry Pattern Continues Across Alabama This Week
RAIN-FREE WEATHER CONTINUES: Alabama needs rain, but it won’t happen this week. Birmingham’s total for the month of October so far is only 0.29″. The last time we received over one-half inch of rain during a 24 hour period was back on September 16 (the total that day was 0.86″). We are seeing a clearing sky this afternoon across the state. Highs this afternoon are ranging from the mid 70s to low 80s across the state. RADAR CHECK: We have a few scattered showers across parts of Central Alabama ahead of a cold front early this morning… the showers are generally south of a line from Roanoke to Prattville to Sweetwater just before sunrise.
