The yellow arrows show general direction and one hour travel for the three potentially tornadic storms in eastern Mississippi right now.

The Clay/Lowndes County storm will be into Lamar County around 2 a.m. A tornado warning is likely for Lamar County. Go ahead and be ready when it is issued. Possible tornado damage was reported to a strip mall in Starkville.

The storm near Louisville will be into southern Lamar and northern Pickens by or before 2:30 a.m. That gives us a little more time to watch it and be prepared.

The storm near Philadelhia has just recently downed a lot of trees. It will be into Pickens County heading toward Carrollton by 2:30 a.m. as well. Be ready for it.

Heavy rain will also be a problem. Streets are flooded in Starkville according to the NWS Jackson.
