Things have been so busy here in recent days… I have failed to note the passing of two long time TV meteorologists… both were real legends in our business.
Gary Shore from Iowa (best known for his work in Tulsa)
I first met Dick at a workshop at Mississippi State about 15 years ago… and I got to know Gary when he looped through Huntsville about 8 years ago. These guys are part of my generation, and just another reminder of just how short our time on Earth really is.
Rest in peace, my friends.

A serious situation is occurring in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area when numerous roads are flooded or impassable. The Tuscaloosa County EMA asks that residents stay home and do not drive. Continue reading
