Another strong storm is over southern Bibb County southwest of Centreville. It will cross AL-5 as it moves into northern Perry County, heading toward Heiberger. The NWS has issued a Significant Weather Alert.
It will produce gusty winds, lightning and very heavy rain. If it continues to intensify it could become severe.
Other developing storms are in southern Chilton County and Autauga County.
Be alert to any developing storms this afternoon. Most of them will be over South Central and West Central Alabama, generally south of US-82 where a subtle boundary sagged to this morning.
