Scattered showers and some thunderstorms continue to develop mainly over Central and SE Alabama early this afternoon.
Lightning detection equipment shows that thunderstorms were in progress, scattered across Bibb, Chilton and Coosa County. One new shower was developing as far north as St. Clair County.
Showers were more numerous over South Central and SE Alabama. Most of those were small (so far)
SPC has part of East Central and SE Alabama under a slight risk this afternoon and evening as well as a good part of Georgia
Overall, every thuing was moving generally eastward.
