At 10:30, the line of thunderstorms across Alabama extended from about Dekalb, Etowah, and Cherokee County in the Northeast…and extending south and southwest along the St. Clair/Calhoun County line, then into Talladega, Coosa, Dallas and Wilcox County.
Mind you, that is the “approximate” line. Not nearly as tightly organized than it was earlier this morning so there are scattered storms also on both sides of the center line.
Strongest storms seemed to be over Coosa County and also Dallas and Wilcox County.
The Severe Thunderstorm Warning that was in effect for parts of Chilton and Coosa County was no longer in effect as of 10:30 am.
Line of storms moving east but the individual storms were moving faster toward the northeast.
A small individual thunderstorm has formed over East Walker County.
