No warnings in effect for Alabama right now.

Our line of storms now extends from Randolph through Clay, Coosa, Chilton, southern Bibb, Hale, Perry and through southern Greene and Sumter Counties.

The strongest storms are west of Demopolis…southeast of Greensboro and southeast of Centreville.

The storm over East Alabama from south of Ashland to west of Wedowee is still quite strong but not considered to be severe…it did produce a 51 mph wind gust in Childersburg and a large tree was down in Sylacauga.

That’s an intense storm southeast of Centreville moving into Chilton County.

The storms from Greensboro to west of Linden are quite intense as well with lots of lightning and very heavy rainfall.
