A small, but noisy thunderstorm developed over NE Jefferson County and was quickly racing toward St. Clair County. The main line of thunderstorms now extends from near Odenville northeastward to south of Gadsden to near Fort Payne.
Moving steadily eastward.
The Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues until 6 pm from about Walker, Jefferson and Shelby County eastward.
The last Severe Thunderstorm warning was issued at 2 pm for North Etowah and SW Cherokee County.
