First showers have reached Extreme West Alabama.
By far the main line of showers and storms at 4 pm was down the west side of Mississippi into SE Louisiana. Strongest storms in the south part of the line.
SPC has posted a Tornado Watch until 10 pm for about the south half of Mississippi and SE Louisiana.
NWS issued a Tornado Warning for a time for North Copiah and South Hindes County in West Mississippi.
We will be on watch as these storms progress eastward into Alabama later this evening. Good chance that the storms will diminish in strength before they reach Central Alabama later tonight.
