Near latitude 14.3N, Longitude 79.5W or about 250 miles east of Cabo Gracias a Dios on the border of Nicaragua and Honduras

Toward the west at 20 mph. This should continue the next 24 hours. On this track the center will be near the coasts of Extreme NE Nicaragua and Eastern Honduras early on Tuesday morning.

Highest sustained 135 mph, down some more since last advisory. Higher gusts. Still a Category Four. He should remain a major hurricane until landfall. Could grow stronger again.

RAIN/STORM SURGE
5 to 8 inches of rain across the landfall area with some amounts to 12 inches. Life-threatening mud slides and flash flooding possible. Storm surge in excess of 18 feet with large and dangerous battering waves.
TRACK FORECAST
Little change. Latest official track moves Felix across the south part of Belize, then Guatemala and into Mexico. This track comes very close to the shore of the bay of Campeche Friday. The track forecast can be ify that far out and the long range cone of concern extends northward to about 50 miles south of Brownsville, Texas. Not likely but possible. Seems like a good chance that moisture from Felix will find its way into West Texas and New Mexico eventually, and possibly even Arizona.
