* NWS/Birmingham cancelled the warning for South/Central Talladega County at 5:00 p.m. about 15 minutes ahead of expiration time. The thunderstorm weakened. It is still producing moderate to heavy rain over the SW corner of Clay County and extreme NE Coosa County.
ELSEWHERE
* Several showers and thunderstorms over Franklin and Marion Counties in NW Alabama–not real strong.
* A diminishing thunderstorm over Cleburne County adjacent to the Georgia border.
* In SW Alabama, scattered strong thunderstorms from Livingston SE to Monroe County.
SKYWATCHER REPORTS
* 0.36 rain at Black Creek from the north edge of the earlier Etowah County storm.
