To the west, thunderstorms were trying to develop back over Mississippi ahead of an upper trough swinging to the southeast. They are moving toward Columbus, but they are very isolated and small.
We will be monitoring developments through the evening hours, but don’t expect significant disturbance.
The severe thunderstorm watch has been canceled for North and Central Alabama.
