A broad band of showers and thunderstorms extended from Walker County southward to near Demopolis. It was raining over most of Walker, Tuscaloosa, Hale and Greene County. The rain was heavy in some places. Some of the heaviest:

Central part of both Hale and Greene County
Another zone of showers and storms further east extended from East St. Clair south through Coosa County and on southward into South Central Alabama.
Overall, the showers and storms spreading out and diminishing.
Spreading out into a lingering lighter rain area over much of the area.
DELAYED DAMAGE REPORT
4 pm, one mile north of Jasper, Walker County, several trees and power lines down with roof damage to a vet clinic on Western Bridge Road.
