We will be watching for later word from the National Hurricane center this morning after reconn reports are in.

Tallahassee doppler radar at 8:15 am (CDT) clearly indicated the center of circulation some 80 to 100 miles south (and sorta to the SSW) of Apalachicola.

For several hours overnight, it appeared that this low pressure area (still not a tropical depression or storm) wanted to move ashore early over the east part of the Florida Panhandle.

However, just about all indications are that the center will move more westward just offshore and eventually into SE Louisiana later in the weekend.

Regardless, pleanty of foul weather all along the Gulf Coast. We will post a list of coastal cities later this morning and their expected weather.
