Well, we never say, never. It all depends on the weather and weather is our boss.
But, unless something else develops, this will probably be our last update for the evening.
At 8 pm, only a few showers of significance remained across Alabama. These notes:
* One shower fizzled near the Etowah-St. Clair County line in NE Alabama. But before it “died” it cooled Mountainboro to 71 degrees although rationing them to only 0.11 rain.
* Moderate to heavy shower near the three-way intersection where Cherokee, Calhoun and Cleburne County join.
* Smaller moderate shower over North Talladega County.
* Shower, maybe heavy, SW Tallapoosa County.
* Another one near Phenix City
& Heaviest shower or thunderstorm of all way down in South Alabama in Covington County near Andalusia.
Everything seems to be moving SW now but this afternoon they were all moving almost due south.
We will be here if something else notable developes…
