Showers and thunderstorms in several areas this afternoon–much like yesterday.
1. Several strong storms across Mobile and Baldwin County.
2. A few in Shelby County. Heavy rain reported at Alabaster earlier.
3. Some of the heaviest rain and storms were from near Dadeville in Tallapoosa County SW across Elmore and Autauga County.
4. NW Alabama. The heavier showers have finally diminished into a light to moderate rain area. So far today, Brilliant, in SE Marion County has received 1.50 inches of rain. That is the part of Alabama where showers were persistent most of the morning.
Most of the showers were moving east. However that cluster down south in Tallapoosa, Elmore and Autauga county was moving slowly north like yesterday.
