The main showers and thunderstorms that will give Alabama some good rain amounts were across Central Arkansas down into NE Texas early tonight.
However, at 8:20 pm, a small cluster of showers was over SE Mississippi and SW Alabama. This included a moderate to heavy shower, with some lightning, over South Choctaw County about 10 miles or so south of Butler.
Moving north.
There will be an increase in showers and thunderstorms across Alabama as the day goes on Tuesday and especially late Tuesday and Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Our best chance of beneficial rain in quite sometime.
