Strongest thunderstorms and heaviest rain was over the southwest part of the state from North Mobile County north through Washington County into South Choctaw County.
Individual smaller but heavy showers over East Bibb and East Autauga County in Central Alabama.

Worst weather still upstream to affect Alabama later was over North Mississippi. This included a line of strong thunderstorms from Benton County in Extreme North Mississippi southward into the central part of the state. Several Tornado Warnings were issued this afternoon and early this evening.
