Still a couple of lines of showers and some thunderstorms to move into and across Alabama the remainder of tonight and today (Wednesday)

The lead line was moving into Extreme NW Alabama at midnight. The line extended from the west edge of Lauderdale and Colbert County in the NW corner of Alabama, southwestward to near Tupelo and Jackson.

The line was moving east rather slowly but the individual storms were moving NE. It was raining heavily around Waterloo and the Extreme west part of Colbert and Lauderdale County, The heavier rain will move toward Red Bay, Russellville, Moulton, Tuscumbia and Muscle Shoals.

The second line was over West Mississippi and not as pronounced.

An earlier bunch of showers was over Extreme East Alabama at midnight and extending down into South Central Alabama. The heaviest showers were over the Extreme South.

I am overdosed on coffee. It does not taste as good after about the 8th cup. Oh for a Buffalo Rock and a moon pie.

It won’t happen but life goes on…
