Cal Davis, a fellow amateur radio operator, KF4LAR, and friend from Tuscaloosa, sent me the pictures below from his camp out at Camp Horne near Cottondale with his son, Jonathan. It was the Cub Scout Haunted Weekend Camp Out and the weather was just about perfect, though Cal said it was a bit nippy this morning with a low of 38 there. The Fall scenery is beautiful, so I just wanted to share these with everyone.
I recall giving a talk there during a summer probably about a year ago, and I recall that it was beautiful. The Fall colors and the mist on the lake do add a touch more beauty to it all.
