A band of showers, in association with a cold front, continues to spread eastward across North and Northwest Alabama.
At 5:15 am, the leading showers were as far east as Huntsville, Cullman, Jasper and Aliceville, in West Alabama’s Pickens County. Light to moderate in intensity. In NW Alabama, the 33/40 Skywatcher for Bear Creek, in NE Marion County, reports 0.55 rain amount so far.
There has been some lightning during the night, but not a great deal. Little or no lightning now.
Some of these showers should reach the Birmingham Metro Area before the morning rush hour is complete. Good idea to slow down and don’t tailgate me!
