John Oldshue tells us that the first hummingbird of 2009 showed up at their place in Shelby County Sunday!
Sure sign of spring and a bit early. John says they don’t usually appear until mid and late March.

In previous years the first hummingbird has usually been in mid to
late March so using ground hog logic we might be getting ready for an
early spring….or is it here already ?
