At 440 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rainbow City, moving northeast at 5 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Gadsden, Rainbow City, Glencoe, Gadsden Mall, Neely Henry Lake,
Southside, Cobb City, Gadsden Steam Plant, Big Wills Creek and
Gadsden Water Works.
