The Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues until 7:00 p.m. for 11 counties in North Alabama. Those counties are:
Cullman
Limestone
Madison
Morgan
DeKalb
Jackson
Marshall
Colbert
Franklin
Lauderdale
Lawrence
The intense line of thunderstorms pushing down across Middle Tennessee is already pushing across the Alabama border.
The National Weather Service in Huntsville posted a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Lauderdale and Limestone Counties until 4:30 this afternoon. Undoubtedly, those warnings will have to be extended southward.
Cannot absolutely rule out a possible tornado with this system. The NWS in Huntsville posted a Tornado Warning for Lincoln County in Southern Tennessee until 4:30. The thunderstorm that could be producing that tornado was moving ESE at 30 mph.
