A line of thunderstorms was still stretching all the way across Alabama in the wee morning hours of this Thursday morning.
After what happened yesterday, people are naturally concerned.
At 1:40 am, the line of storms extended from Aliceville in South Pickens County on the west side of the state…eastward to near Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Pell City, Anniston to north of Heflin near the Georgia border.
The storms were moving eastward while the line itself was sinking slowly toward the southeast.
No warnings with this line of storms since it formed over North Alabama before midnight. Lightning detection equipment shows a decline in the fireworks.
