Late this morning most of the showers in Alabama had shifted eastward and much of West Alabama was not getting rain.
The heavier, and more numerous showers, extended from Morgan County southeastward across Blount, St. Clair and the south parts of both Etowah and Calhoun County.

NWS/Huntsville continues a Flash Flood Warning for West Morgan County until 1:45 this afternoon for these reasons:
* Radar estimnates of 3 inches of rain West and SW Morgan County
* Actual measurement of 4 inches this morning in the Massey community.
BIRMINGHAM METRO AREA
Still some showers over Extreme East Jefferson County. Heavier showers over Blount and south St. Clair County. Moving further away from BHM area,
However, other showers could form.
