That line of strong storms that moved north through BHM was well north of the city at 5:30 this afternoon.
The irregular line of storms extended generally from Cullman to Etowah County.
Strongest storms in Cullman Countyand north of Gadsden in NE Alabama.
Very heavy rain and considerable lightning, as well as strong gusts winds.
Other moderate to heavy showers were lined up from North Talladega County SE to Tallapoosa County.
No formal warnings today so far. That is a good thing.
