…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN JACKSON…CENTRAL
MADISON AND SOUTHWESTERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES UNTIL 730 PM CDT…
At 700 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a couple of strong
thunderstorms in the advisory area. The strongest cell was located
near Gurley, or 9 miles southeast of Huntsville, with another storm
of similar strength located between Meridianville and New
Market. Both cells were moving northeastward at 45 mph.
Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Huntsville, Scottsboro, Moores Mill, Meridianville, Hazel Green,
Owens Cross Roads, Hollywood, Skyline, Gurley and Woodville.
