The strong storm that was near Hoover has weakened considerably. It has also curved more to the NW and will move across SW Jefferson County. At one time, this storm was producing very heavy rain and lots of booming thunderstorm. However, no know reports of very strong winds.

* Scattered storms over Franklin and Colbert County in Extreme NW Alabama.
Storms this afternoon not nearly as numerous as yesterday.
