So far this morning, the more extensive and heavier showers have been over South Central Alabama, mostly south of Montgomery.
Lighter showers extend NE into East Central and NE Alabama.
An area of moderate to heavy showers over NE Alabama, mainly Blount, Etowah and Cherokee County. Heavy rain reported a few minutes ago at Scroughout in Extreme NE Etowah County. That location has received an amazing amount of rain so far this year.
Everything moving toward the NE.
Not much lightning. Almost all of the lighting is offshore across the Northern Gulf of Mexico.
