A small area of rain has been persistent over North St. Clair County near Ashville this morning.
Over on the west side of the state, showers were in progress over pickens, Greene and Sumter County. This included some locally heavy showers over South pickens County from near Aliceville up to Gordo.
Even a bit of lightning involved.
Everything moving slowly SE.
Across Alabama as a whole, not more than 3% of the land area is getting rain at this moment.
