At 12:45 on this Monday morning, that line of intense thunderstorms extended from East Franklin County to south of Huntsville, approaching Guntersville and then angling SW of Fort Payne and the NE edge of Etowah County.

Translation: The line of storms not very straight but they continue to push toward the south and SE.

One bit of good news. No Severe Thunderstorm Warnings current as of 12:45 am. A Flash Flood Warning continues until 3:15 for East Morgan and Madison County County. Very heavy rain with these storms.

Lightning is still intense in these storms although it has lessened a bit in the last hour.

The nearest part of this line to Birmingham is the north edge of Cullman County. These storms should reached the Birmingham area as early as 3 am.

All of Alabama is under a slight risk of severe weather today (Monday) by the Storm Prediction Center.
