That cluster of strong thunderstorms continues to push south eastward through North/Central Alabama. At 11:25, the leading edge of the storms extended from SE of Huntsville to near the city of Cullman, then across Eastern Winston County into the NW corner of Walker County. Another smaller storm was developing over North Tuscaloosa County.
The storms have weakened a bit during the last 30 to 40 minutes, but they are still producing lots of lightning and strong gusty winds. Frequent lightning is visible from our area in Trussville to the north and NW.
No counties in Alabama are under an actual warning. NWS in Huntsville does continue a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the south Tennessee counties of Franklin and Moore until 11:45.
We think these storms will reach Blount, Jefferson and North Tuscaloosa Counties around midnight or soon thereafter.
We will be on watch.
