Late tonight, showers, light to moderate, were over SE Alabama, most of them SE of the Montgomery.

Quite a different arrangement from 24 hours ago when we were on our nightly watch keeping an eye on still another big glob of thunderstorms moving into Alabama from the north and northwest.

Late tonight, we look more toward the west where another big family of big storms was moving across Mississippi, This cluster may affect parts of West Central and SW Alabama later and into the early hours of Friday morning.

NWS in Jackson has issued several Flash Flood Warnings, Radar indicated as much as 3 to 5 inches over parts of Montgomery County in North Mississippi in only two hours.

Out ahead of the main line, several strong individual storms near Columbus and Starkville seemed heading toward West Alabama’s Lamar and Pickens County.

Another one of those nights when we will be burning the midnight oil, but that is what makes our life so exciting?

Drinking delicious and delectable ice cold tap water. NOT bottled water….
